Nuther thing that is landing is that on Friday, the de minimus (items less than $800) is eliminated which means that a huge amount of trade that was excaping the tariffs will be affected - only about a gazillion pieces per year. It will affect a lot of businesses.

@Mik said in Happy Draft Day: How many times do you have to say defense wins games. Were that not true the Bengals would have won the Super Bowl last year. You still need offense. Pittsburgh had the top scoring defense through 12 weeks last year and were 10-2. BUT the offense couldn’t sustain drives, and Russell Wilson repeatedly ignored play calls designed to grind the clock and went for quick big strikes instead. The result? Our defense was on the field for 20 more snaps a game than average. They hit that 5 games in 22 days stretch and died. They were worn down…

***=NSFW content***click to show n 1933, a young Lucille Ball, just 22 years old, made one of her earliest on-screen appearances as a Goldwyn Girl in the musical comedy Roman Scandals. At that time, she was still a rising star—an ambitious model-turned-actress trying to make her mark in Hollywood. The Goldwyn Girls were known for their synchronized glamour and were featured in elaborate musical numbers that added dazzle to the silver screen, and Lucille was among them, soaking in the experience of big studio productions. Though her role in Roman Scandals was uncredited, it was a crucial step in her journey. Surrounded by the showbiz spectacle and working under the direction of established filmmakers, Lucille was quietly learning the ropes—building poise, camera awareness, and performance skills that would serve her well in the years ahead. Even then, she stood out with her expressive features and magnetic energy. This moment in Lucille Ball’s life captures her at the very beginning of a legendary career. Before she became a household name with I Love Lucy, before she broke barriers as a pioneering producer and comedic genius, she was one of many hopefuls in the chorus line. But even in the background, Lucille had a spark—and history would soon catch up with her.

@Mik said in I want this.: @LuFins-Dad said in I want this.: @Nunatax said in I want this.: Two words: robot mower A roomba with sharpened blades. What can go wrong? For one thing they're REALLY easy to steal from your front yard. Depending on the model, they come with a lot of measures against theft these days, though admittedly I definitely don’t know how effective these all are. We’ll be shopping for one in the coming months, so hope to find out

Wow, almost like a sad script. The Steelers have always drafted better than most, looks like they got another solid guy.
